He has always exhibited a very balanced conformation. The "Merry Boy" line is a bit slower to mature out and they tend to have a longer life span. Black Jax is black with a star, snip and hind sock. He has a gorgeous, small head with large, expressive eyes. His mane and tail are thick and have a natural wave to them. He is 15.1H of medium frame with a muscular build.

His running walk is excellent, whether at liberty or under saddle. He has a strong head nod and is naturally animated up front and can also rack at will. His over stride is excellent as his hind legs come down well up under him. He has a kind, loving disposition with great intelligence.

• Mare Care at $3.00/day or $5.00 wet. We offer natural cover only. For our stallion's protection-mares must be in good physical condition, barefoot and up to date on vaccinations (including West Nile) and worming, negative Coggins (within a year).
