Ray and Lorraine are originally from Fallon, Montana and Williston, North Dakota. And have always loved horses. We married in 1990 and shared a dream of being able to have horses and ride in the mountains. God has been good to us and allowed us that dream!

We started with quarter horses and some friends of ours asked Ray if he would ride a two year old of theirs, as he was a little high strung for the woman. They wanted Ray to put a few rides on him. Ray fell in love with him, he was a Tennessee Walker. We were hooked. Ray told the folks if they ever decided to sell him, he would love to have first chance at buying him.
Well, it wasn't long and they called. The horse was a strong, raw boned, muscular horse. He was too tall for the lady, at 16 hands as a two year old. She had a hard time just brushing his back. So we bought him....And that is what started our love for walkers. Midnight is awesome, he loves to work and has a great disposition, topping it off with being very smart. Ray does not need a GPS because Midnight always knows the way home. We love Tennessee Walking horse's dispositions. Our horses have good minds and willing spirits, they want to please. They must be calm, sane and gentle, to fulfill our needs.
We believe it is important to match the horse with the rider. Our babies love people. They are imprinted shortly after birth and are worked with on a regular basis. Imprinting and messaging continues as they grow in trust and confidence. They are awesome. It is so rewarding to see them change.
